Michael Franks is an American singer-songwriter with a long history in the fields of smooth jazz and adult contemporary music. He was born in Los Angeles, Indiana on September 1, 1944. Franks released many albums after that, and his second album, Sleeping Gypsy, is highly regarded as his masterpiece, including “The Lady Wants To Know” and “Antonio’s Song”.
