The song was written as the theme song for the Fuji TV Monday 9pm drama “Moon Lovers” (starring Kimura Takuya and Shinohara Ryoko), and is Kubota’s first Monday 9pm theme song in 14 years since “LA・LA・LA LOVE SONG” (theme song for “Long Vacation” in 1996). The Monday 9pm drama “Moon Lovers” is an adult love story between the president of an interior design company (Kimura Takuya) and three women (Shinohara Ryoko, Lin Chiling, Kitagawa Keiko). Kubota thoroughly read the story and script of the drama, and created the lyrics and melody by overlaying the protagonist’s feelings. It is an up-tempo soul pop song that combines R&B and pop.
