The quartet began as the Joshua Redman Quartet in the early 1990s. They released the album Mood Swing in 1994, and became representative of the “Young Lions” generation at the time. After disbanding about a year and a half later, each member achieved success in solo or other projects. 25 years later, in 2019, they reunited. Their first live performance since reuniting was two consecutive nights at The Falcon in September 2019. This video is a record of that performance, and was filmed just before recording their new album Round Again (released July 10, 2020).
