西原健一郎（にしはら けんいちろう）は、作曲家、編曲家、プロデューサーとして活動しています。
大学在学中に音楽活動を開始し、2000年代以降、数多くのアーティストとコラボレーションし、楽曲提供やプロデュースを手掛けています。
自身の作品としては1st『Humming Jazz』(2008)が、Billboard JAPAN Jazz Artist of the Year 2009/優秀ジャズアーティスト賞にノミネートされる等、一躍シーンの中心に登場し、その後の作品も国内外にてヒットを記録しています。
Kenichiro Nishihara works as a composer, arranger and producer. He began his musical career while attending university, and since the 2000s has collaborated with numerous artists, writing and producing songs.
His first album, Humming Jazz (2008), was nominated for the Billboard JAPAN Jazz Artist of the Year 2009 Outstanding Jazz Artist Award, and he quickly rose to the center of the scene. His subsequent works have also been hits both in Japan and overseas.
2014年には新レーベル『Jazcrafts』（ジャズクラフト）を自ら立ち上げ、『Jazcrafts』とは“クラフト（工芸品）のように音楽をつくる”がコンセプトになっています。
西原健一郎は、ジャズやブラジル音楽などを取り入れたサウンドに特徴があり、そのセンスと才能を多くのアーティストに認められ、業界内でも高い評価を得ています。
In 2014, he launched his own new label, Jazcrafts, which is based on the concept of “making music like craft.”
Nishihara Kenichiro is known for his sound that incorporates jazz and Brazilian music, and his sense and talent have been recognized by many artists, earning him high praise within the industry.
